The most exciting eco-tourism in surrounding Balikpapan and Kutai area is the Kawasan Wisata Bukit Bangkirai located in Batuampar, a 58 km from Balikpapan city or a 1,5 hours drive to the direction of Balikpapan-Samarinda road. These tourism area have a unique of a 30 meters high canopy bridge connecting several giant trees of Bangkirai where we can feel and touch a canopy living of the typical Dipterocarps forest of Southeast Asia. This eco-tourism area facilitated by several cottages, restaurant, and swimming pool. We also provide services an out-bond training package for company as well as for family in this area. In every Distric area, we manage a remaining the forest area which is can be used for the recreation of the urban community. We call this area as “Wanawisata’. There are:
